Get a free license for this printer Ink saver App

by r. schifreen.

Preton saver is a handy utility for Windows with an ink jet printer especially if most of the things you print is not for long-term archiving and did not need to look at Virgin.

Is a simple utility which allows you to save ink and can also keep a count of the current quantity of ink (and money) that you saved.  Better yet, you can obtain a free license if you use the program for non-commercial purposes (i.e. internal).

To begin, go to http://www.preton.com/free.asp.  You must provide an e-mail address to get your free license.  Return, you can obtain a license code and download link.  Copy the license key in the Windows Clipboard.  Once installed the software and you've pasted your license in her code, you are ready to go.

Whenever you print from a Windows application, screen saver Preton opens, as shown below.  You can choose anything from 0 to 70% saving ink, adjusting the cursor. Click the print button and the print job must proceed as usual but with less ink.

If you are used to print documents or e-mail messages so that you can read them at your convenience, but then quickly regain you their away, a program like this is ideal.  It will certainly save money and very discrete works.  It runs on Windows XP and above all and is available in versions for 32 and 64-bit.  The initial download is less than 1 MB, but it seems to download files from 6 MB additional installation, probably to make sure that you always have the latest version.
